Raf-simons-high-top-velcro-sneakers-front

Raf Simons has come out with three different types of high top velcro kicks. Two of the shoes come in white canvas and and playfully integrate their designs into the bulky strip of velcro. The third sneaker is a black hightop with an all over alphabet print. Velcro shoes are no longer just for stubborn children who don't want to learn how to tie their shoes. All three variations are available at colette. -John Sebelius

New-balance-576-bamboo-reak-1
We love featuring kicks that are different or interesting and Mita Sneakers new collaboration with New Balance deserves a second look. New Balance is not the most innovative brand in the game but the New Balance MT576S Bamboo Rake is an interesting approach to footwear. The sneaker looks clean and simple in the daylight but flexes its wild side in the darkness. The shoe is set to be released on April 4th. More pics after the jump. -John Sebelius

Nonnative-half-dyed-twill-check-cowboy-shirt

Nonnative has taken the traditional western shirt and added some flavor. The shirts upper section has been dyed so an interesting gradation occurs from the darkened top half down to the untouched pattern at the bottom. They haven't recreated the wheel here but it is an interesting effect. The shirts are available at RE IN FORCE. -John Sebelius
